There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way, and not starting. ~Buddha
Are you... Stuck?
Living with addiction?
So stressed you can’t function?
Unable to have effective relationships?
Feeling like you are surviving without thriving?
Running into the same problems?
Getting little satisfaction out of life?
Struggling with unsuccessful habits?
Struggling with triggers from adverse life experiences?
Let me help you develop successful life strategies. If you have identified that you have unsuccessful habits such as addictions, anger management and relationship difficulties, you can learn successful habits and strategies for living. Support is a critical component of change for all of us.
I am passionate about helping people who are struggling from the turmoil of addiction in their lives. I use a family systems model offering support to the entire family while considering all aspects of a person’s life that create an impact. My goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to update and improve your reactivity to the past in order to live successfully in the present.
Many of the people with whom I work have experienced highly adverse life experiences. Developing the skills necessary to live in the moment rather than living in the memories of adverse experience is one of the keys to regulating our stress response. Sometimes we forget that there is no duality between the brain-body. Recovery involves integration of brain-body responses and this requires recovery skill training, practice, education, determination and social support.
Let me help you take that first step on your road to recovery and living a more fulfilling life. Let’s join together on your journey to make sense of the past and live in the present.
